Stoke Golding - birthplace of the Tudors !

I am now staying with Claire, my neice , and her lovely family in the little village of Stoke Golding, not far from Leicester.

I was amazed , as I travelled up here, at how beautiful and how pristine St Pancras station is. In fact, railway stations here are incredibly clean, probably as smoking is not permitted, though litter also does not appear to be a problem either.

I have had a day working on Zuoz, catching up with chores and relaxing. Claire and I had a fantastic , gentle walk along a nearby canal. it must be so peaceful living on these boats. The more I walk along canals, the more I am determined one day to do a canal trip. Bucket list entry for 2017!

We had lunch at a very pretty little cafe by the canal, not at the takeaway, which had seemingky been taken away ๐Ÿ˜ณ

By the way, as you know I am hoping to get a campervan, but not sure about this one ๐Ÿ˜„ though it would attract a certain amount of interest.
