Pontivy market and canal de nantes a brest

Sitting in sun outside Pams little cottage, nouvelle vie. Good name for her cosy retirement cottage in this very sleepy hamlet. Enjoyed Pontivy market with all its colourful stalls and delicious food

 

we arrived bit late so as you see the giant frying pans were half empty! Then pleasant stroll along the canal. So restful and quiet. Just the sounds of birds and yet minutes from the town

 

How sad that so many of the gorgeous little houses have been neglected and have fallen into disrepair. Some like this one, only 5 mins from town could be amazing homes.
