Pointe du Raz and Concarneau

Our day started at the point of the peninsula, the spectacular cliffs and coastline of Pointe du Raz.

I would have happily spent all day there but we had a lot to see !

Next stop the port of Concarneau with a gorgeous old town on a small island, the town made even more special by the Fete de Bretagne taking place in it. Was great to get a taste of the music and dances of this region. Oddly enough the majority of those dancing looked extremely miserable even though the music was very jolly😏 I made a video but sadly cant add it, so will just show you some photos of the town and beaches so you can see how lovely it is. It is so peaceful too with very restful atmosphere. Needless to say, more incredible restaurants.

We were also treated to our first sunset as we walked home after our 3 course meal. Thankfully we are averaging about 25,000steps a day which will hopefully compensate fot the food we are eating. Loads of seafood and of course some very tasty galettes

Take care wherever you are.
