It was marvelous to return to Wales with no turbulence ( my first landing a few weeks ago had not been very pleasant!)and lovely views of Wales as we landed.
Back to the incredible Welsh language - vital words!
And back to my wonderful family and animals! The weather was simply perfect and so Ceri and I set off fairly quickly to the beautiful beach of Ogmore. I love the walk there, and of course Molly adores it. We had Meek , the crazy spoodle with us, but it's pretty hard to get a photo of her outside because she is busy tearing around!
Actually, the scenery in Wales is as magnificent as you will find anywhere, particularly on beautiful days like this.
Family time is just as special as all the amazing places I have visited in recent weeks. Although I am travelling a lot this year, I am also making sure that I have lots of time with my family.
Not much time to rest once back in Zurich but the walk to work along the Zuric lake was absolutely glorious.
Fantastic to see the swans with their cygnets again. Wow, the cygnets have grown so quickly.
I had a fantastic brunch at Trudi's home with Dennis and Guto, and Trudi of course,
Before heading down to say 'hello' and 'farewell ' to my lake and the resident stork - i am so glad I am not a stork so high up there, and yet I guess the views must be breathtaking!
They were spectacular from the safety of the ground too, I might add, with the menacing, heavy , dark clouds contrasting so magnificently with the turquise water of the lake. I felt so much at home there, as if I had never left.
How marvelous it is to have so many incredible places to call home, with so many friends and family to make it a home! Thank you all so much. I am so amazingly lucky!
